isabel maywho starred in Taylor Sheridanwestern series 1883is set to join the upcoming revenge thriller wild world.
The film tells the story of “a young woman who must use her survival skills to track down her sister and exact revenge on the man who kidnapped her.”
The film will be directed by a husband-wife team Alan Gold and Geeta Prapili (Queenpins, under harvest skies) and it’s based on a script they wrote.
May gave an incredible performance in 1883, and I can’t remember seeing her in anything else since then, so it’s great to see her in a major role in the film.
She will also star in another sci-fi horror film ” threaten. In that film, May played “a graduate student suffering from a nervous breakdown who is remanded to the custody of her aunt and uncle in a small town.
“When strange things start happening around her and people start disappearing, she’s unsure what’s real and what’s her imagination.”
wild world Production is expected to begin in Australia in the autumn and winter of 2025.
