A week before the Country Music Association Awards are set to take place in Nashville, the Academy of Country Music has announced the submission and voting schedule for the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards, set to take place on May 8, 2025.
For the fourth consecutive year, the ACM Awards will be broadcast live exclusively on Prime Video. The event will be held for the third consecutive year at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, and hosted by Reba McEntire for the second consecutive year.
This will be McEntire’s 18th time hosting or co-hosting the ACM Awards. She first co-hosted the show in 1986 with John Schneider and the late Mac Davis. McEntire is quickly closing in on Bob Hope’s record as the person who most often hosts a major awards show. Between 1940 and 1978, Hope hosted or co-hosted the Academy Awards 19 times.
The ACM Awards are produced by Dick Clark Productions. This award is voted on by ACM members. The window to become a member or renew your membership opened on October 1st and will close on Friday, November 15th at 10am Central Time. Potential voters can submit an application for ACM membership online at www.acmcountry.com/membership.
The eligibility period for the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards is January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. , 2025.
