Long-time fans were shocked to learn that not only David and Gillian would attend and sit at the same table, but that they would award awards, their reunion at a few of Anderson (56) sitting with Duchovny (64) on him Podcasts can’t better discuss their partnership, friendship and career mistakes in months. The two have had turbulent relationships in the past, due to problems when they created the popular X-Files series in the early 1990s, but have since rebuilded a friendly relationship with each other.

Gillian walks the carpet in a stunning Carolina Herrera gown and joins David’s table and on Jeremy Strong and Ah Next to the names such as Adrien Brody. Anderson and Duchovny are familiar with the SAG awards, both of whom have won nominated awards, the crown of Anderson and Netflix.

They walk together on the stage weapons, where they give a lively sketch of their own chemistry, which makes the other actors happy in the room, imitating the drama banter of X-Files characters Mulder and Scully. “Good to see you Gillian, look, uh-” Duhoffney began Anderson to cut off his identity. “When we filmed episode 218, we were younger than you saw last time?” she asked. Their riff lasted over a minute before the nominee was announced.
Mulder and Scully fans coined the word “transport” in the 90s and still use it in fanatic culture today, and Gillian and David are no strangers to awe and admiration for those around them. Fans haven’t seen more of the couple on screen since the X-Files revival ended in 2018. “We’re going to give the awards. It feels good…I’m sure there will be more chats after Sunday,” Duchovny said correctly at the 22nd G’Day USA Arts Arts Gala.
Shogun’s actor won the Outstanding Performance Award for the Drama Series Ensemble.

The chemistry on the screen translates into a TV screen, and 32 years later, the X-Files still attracts the attention of new viewers who say their connection is different from others you’ve seen before. While Duchovny didn’t walk the carpet, he was seen chatting with names like Harrison Ford and Coleman Domingo and Gillian, sharing photos and videos of both, preparing for their social media.
