Artists such as 21 Savage, Gunna, Metro Boomin’ and Wiz Khalifa have been confirmed as performers at the upcoming Balad Beast 2025 music festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The event is scheduled to take place at the UNESCO World Heritage Site on January 30-31 Al-Balad.
MDLBEAST says it has “curated a lineup that blends an international feel with local talent to provide attendees with a one-of-a-kind musical experience to suit all tastes”.
In addition to trap and hip-hop stars 21 Savage, Gunna, Metro Boomin’ and Wiz Khalifa, Balad Beast will also perform Michael Kiwanuka, Ghost Kiss and Zayn.
The festival said it also supports local and regional talent, focusing on acts such as Dish Dash, Biirdperson and Vinyl Mode.
Elsewhere in the festival’s program, the electronic music program will include works by Alexander Skancke, Brawther, Maceo Plex, Mau P and others.
Festival organizer MDLBEAST, a Saudi-based music and entertainment company, claims the event is “a festival like no other” that showcases “Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural tapestry”.
Balad Beast takes place in the historic district of Jeddah, occupying various courtyards and hosting four different stages.
MDLBEAST was formed in 2019 following the launch of flagship music festival SOUNDSTORM. It is now operated by three corporate divisions: XP Music Futures, MDLBEAST PRESENTS and MDLBEAST Record Label.
Last summer, the company also entered the world of music publishing with the launch of MDLBEAST Publishing.
The new division aims to work with songwriters, producers and artists in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East and North Africa region.
MDLBEAST Publishing said it will work with Sentric to provide global support outside the MENA region and provide administrative services for authors to register their works.
XP Music Futures is a music conference focused on the Middle East and North Africa. The event took place last month (December 5-7) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
XP Music Futures aims to expand the music and creative scene in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East, MDLBEAST said.global music business
