British music production company 45RPM has expanded its business into music publishing by establishing a strategic partnership with Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG).
45 rpm Established in 2022 Ian Cook (Back to black, gentleman), Sarah bridge (The Crown, The Theory of Everything), Catherine Greaves (Little Reindeer, Killing Eve), and gap Angel (Paddington 2, Bridget Jones’s Diary).
The company’s leadership team also includes Managing Director Ella Owenformer music executive BBH London Former Vice President of Sync Europe Warner Chappell Music.
45RPM’s core services include creative direction for soundtrack development, composer collaboration, rights negotiations, budget management and on-camera music supervision. 45RPM said that through its new publishing arm, it will offer composers and songwriters opportunities across film, television, advertising and games.
The collaboration with UMPG connects creators to the latter’s resources and network, representing composers e.g. Nicholas Brittel, Isabel Waller-Bridge, and Max Richteras well as catalogs from superstars such as Taylor Swift and billie eilish.

Also last month, producers james ford Signed an exclusive global management agreement with UK-based UMPG. Ford has collaborated with the following artists: Arctic Monkeys, Depeche Mode, Foals, Florence and The Machine, Haim, Gorillaz, and Jesse Ware.
In August, UMPG entered into a publishing partnership with London-based Indie Entertainment other songs.
