First of all, a guy on The Bachelor usually gets his heart broken into a million pieces because he knows that one of his saddest moments is going to be broadcast to the world.
You could feel everyone’s nerves going into the final moments and this season will be no different.
There will be a final rose (maybe), an engagement (supposedly), tears (mine), and live tweets (also mine).
I’m so ready for the season to start!

Season 29 of “The Bachelor” will premiere on January 25 at 8/7c on ABC. The Bachelor Season 29 is coming back in a few weeks, and it’s crazy.
The series has been around for so long that it’s just something that happens. The sun will rise and set as The Bachelor premieres on ABC with the most eye-catching promotional package you’ve ever seen.
Grant Ellis was a contestant on Season 21 of The Bachelorette, where he hit it off with co-star Jenn Tran, but it wasn’t the right fit for him. But he impressed enough to star on the latest season of The Bachelor .
Grant comes across as extremely likable. He has a charming smile and a penchant for staying away from drama, which means he doesn’t always get the most screen time, but he makes do with what he’s given.
Jenn’s season has been filled with a lot of losers, but Grant is a good choice because of his always respectful and vulnerable nature, which are hallmark qualities of a solid lead.

Grant is a sweetheart
Jenn eliminated Grant before the hometown date, which was a devastating blow for the day trader because he told Jenn he was in love with her.
From the beginning, Grant stood out from the crowd with his dazzling smile and calm personality. He was a gentleman through and through, and while he impressed Jenn, he didn’t do it to her face or try to gain some competitive advantage (or extra screen time) by going up against the others. .
Grant seems to be around Jenn and is more interested in getting to know her and making a connection than being involved in the drama.
While the drama makes The Bachelor one of the longest-running reality TV shows, you don’t necessarily want your protagonist to be the antagonist. Say what you will about the show but some people come looking for love and say I’m naive but Grant seems to be one of them.
Not only was Grant genuine, but he was down to earth, thoughtful, and willing to open up to Jen. He did not repeat talking points or change the subject. He was willing to have a deep conversation with Jenn and build something because he wanted love, a family, and the Golden Retriever lifestyle.
Now that he’s the protagonist, he’s going to be in an interesting position where he’s calling the shots and hopefully experiencing a new journey with a happy ending.
The girls will seek funding there
See, in some seasons, the show’s protagonist isn’t who the viewers or contestants expected.
Countless men and women will sign up thinking the person they follow is about to be the one handing out roses, and then be crushed when they step out of the limo and see someone else.
Many people will act like they’re open to anyone, even if it’s not who they’re expecting, but it’s easy to see through these people.
Thrones did the right thing by Grant and announced his appointment while they were still casting. This means that women vying for his affection should be familiar with Grant and willing to be by his side.
This may sound like a small thing since the show is known as a stepping stone for many people to other things rather than a vehicle for finding everlasting love, but any time we can skip another contestant having to tell the protagonist who they are This episode worked better with the person he was most originally intended for.
I like my Bachelor dramas to have a touch of realism and not be completely manufactured.
A new range of bucket list attractions
There are many reasons why people watch this series, and watching people fall in love is sometimes far from the top of their list of things they want to see.
Today, the flagship series is almost as famous for travel as anything else. Girls and boys travel across America and beyond while collecting roses and air miles.
Many of the episodes act as advertisements for any given city or country, and they do an excellent job of making the places they visit more than just a backdrop.
It’s wonderful to see different places and communities highlighted, and I’m certainly not the only one who has taken note of some of these places and added them to my ever-growing list of destinations I’d like to visit when I win the millionaire .
Come for the declaration of love, but stay for the tropical scene ad.
drama and romance
It goes without saying that a season of The Bachelor is going to have drama and a lot of loving scenes, but there’s something about Grant that makes me wish it would be a lighter season.
Grant has an easy-going personality, and while he has moments as a protagonist that can break someone’s heart or tell someone about their behavior, I doubt it’s going to be on the level we’ve seen in the past.
Of course, the contestants won’t be peppering Grant with questions of their own, but we’re hoping Grant’s cool, cool and collected nature rubs off on his ladies, giving us a season full of drama and levity.
I’m a sucker for fights and drama (every season needs a villain, okay!), but I’m also interested in seeing a good guy find something special amid the absurdity that only this series can bring.
I love that my Bachelor watching includes some scenes that made me clutch my pearls and some that made me believe in love again.
The most dramatic ending ever because… DUH
If you want people to stick with it all season, you have to tease the ending.
If everyone knew the entire season would lead to a boring ending, no one would want to tune in.
But The Bachelor’s endings are often pretty dramatic.
