The full Analogue Ordnance sound library (from which the sounds in this Lite version are derived) is a massive building kit for sci-fi weapon sounds, made entirely using hardware synthesizers, mastered entirely in the analog realm, and with varying ratios for each sound Any similar library. Absolutely no software plug-ins of any kind were used in its creation, except for its collection of ready-made sounds designed to show what can be done using the component parts of the library.
Powered by op amps, transistors, tubes, and transformers, this tiny collection delivers sounds that range from vintage cuteness to modern destruction. Sounds are divided into mechanical groups, thump groups, body groups, tail groups, and charging groups for true modular weapon construction. Each group has a “library” of six to eight related sounds, many with intensity (light, heavy) and duration (short, medium, long) options.
While sounds are designed to be layered on themselves, the library plays well with other libraries, providing thousands of sweeteners to “tech upgrade” any recent gun or projectile-based gun, magic attacks, superhuman abilities , or even user interface elements.
