After months of questions from fans, Liz Woods has clarified her health concerns.
The “90 Day Fiancé” star’s social media followers have recently become curious about her mysterious illness.
Surprisingly, the 32-year-old gave a candid response to a fan asking if she had cancer in an Instagram post shared by 90 Day Fiancé blogger @Shabootydotcom.
“I’m in therapy,” the TLC star declared, without elaborating.
In a recent post on her Instagram account, the mother-of-one revealed some major milestones and updated fans on her treatment.
“In the past week I got a promotion at work, completed my last round of chemo, and completed my first run in the last 6 months,” she wrote in a series of photos.
“Blessed,” she added a prayer emoji.
Liz has previously hinted at health issues
It’s unclear how long Liz has been battling cancer, but it’s possible she’s filming for one of the various 90 Day Fiancé shows and will be opening up about it on camera.
Sharp Entertainment, which produces the mammoth franchise, required the actors to sign strict nondisclosure agreements to prevent the storyline from prying eyes.
It makes sense that fans would want to tune into the show and be surprised by the events, but many cast members have been fired for sharing too much on social media.
Brandon and Mary Danusio come to mind.
When they first appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Season 5, they brought so much drama that they were destined to become mainstays for years to come.
But that feeling collapsed when they were accused of ruining some milestones and were quickly fired, never to appear on TLC again.
Liz first appeared on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise during the freshman season of 90 Day: Single Life, where she became involved in a romance with notorious villain Big Ed Brown.
Their relationship had many problems, but they came to some resolution on 90 Day Fiancé: Last Resort and began planning their wedding.
But are there tears in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? In season eight, they never walked on the red carpet again.
Liz was involved in 90 Day Fiance’s most shocking storylines
A pre-wedding quarrel forces Ed to cancel their big day, and he doesn’t even think of telling his fiancée about it.
The good news is, Liz gets the last laugh in this unprecedented five-part tell-all episode, where she introduces viewers and Ed to her new boyfriend, Jason Zuniga. (Video below)
The audience immediately warms to Jason because he’s not afraid to stand up to Big Ed, and Liz radiates happiness that we rarely see in her relationship with Ed.
Liz previously said she wasn’t sure if she would return to the series due to the lack of drama in her relationship, but her status as a fan favorite may have made her change her plans.
