The latest episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way featured some of the most frustrating and head-scratching moments yet. From Tata’s constant crying and unrealistic expectations for James to Joanne and Sean hiding their marriage from their children for two years, it’s hard to ignore the red flags flying high this season. Meanwhile, Shekina and Saper are having another fight over a nose job, and Josh and Lily’s disastrous lack of communication only adds to the chaos. While some couples are clearly trying to make things work, others are teetering on the edge, leading to a tense and sometimes maddening episode. Let’s dive into the plot.
tata and james
Gosh, where do we start talking about Tata? It’s hard to feel too sympathetic when she’s constantly in tears and forcing James into trouble. The man couldn’t even find a job in Indonesia, but Tata insisted he stay there because – what? ——No doctor in the United States can find out her thyroid problem? hurry up! It’s ridiculous and feels like she’s looking for an excuse to trap James into a life that’s not meant for him. The sheer immaturity of constantly crying to get your way is exhausting, and while James seems patient at the moment, this dynamic is completely unfair and unsustainable. Tata needs to be more realistic, not only considering her health, but also the huge burden she places on James due to her inflexibility.
Joanne and Sean
I agree, Joanne and Sean have a more realistic love story, but wow, hiding their marriage from their kids for two years? That’s wrong. Joanne effectively abandoned her son Joey and moved to Ireland for part of the year, and he was certainly devastated. He was right to feel betrayed because she kept such a big secret from him. It’s not just a matter of secrecy, it’s her trying to justify her actions and not affect her relationship with her children. The reality is that she is choosing a new life over her old one, and that’s hard for any child to accept. Trying to paint it in a more positive light only makes things worse, because it’s obvious she left Joey for her new relationship.
Shekina and Saper
If I hear about Shekina’s nose job one more time, I’ll probably scream. This woman is addicted to plastic surgery and now she blames her nose problems on her last plastic surgery? Maybe it’s time to stop unnecessary procedures. Saper’s possessiveness is also extraordinary. Drawing on her nose? Really? These two are so tired that their drama becomes more and more ridiculous as the episodes go by. Their storyline has always dragged on, and frankly, the constant back and forth on superficial things has made them one of the most uninteresting couples of the season. They need to get off the stage; we’re done.
josh and lily
Josh and Lily are a disaster when it comes to communication, and shockingly, they’re having a wedding in China and they clearly don’t know how to talk to each other. Josh is such a bum and it’s painful to watch him fumble through every conversation. The fact that his brother, who apparently had sense, had to step in as a mediator says it all. If you need your brother to work on your relationship, maybe you are the problem, Josh! Lily deserves better than this, but she seems blinded by the idea of making it work. They are setting themselves up for failure and it’s hard to see that it’s just a matter of time before everything falls apart.
This episode really highlighted how some of these relationships are on thin ice. While some couples have true love, like Joanne and Sean (despite keeping it a secret), others are seriously misguided—whether due to a lack of communication, false expectations, or outright immaturity. Buckle up because things are only going to get messier!
