The Myrtle Beach <a href="https://cinemamix360.com/2026/08/28/supreme-music-reaches-new-heights-with-international-wins-and-growth/” title=”Supreme Music Reaches New Heights with International Wins and Growth”>International Film Festival launched a movie channel dedicated exclusively to Myrtle Beach’s independent films, a press release announced today.
The channel will offer free 24/7 online and on-demand film access, a spokesperson for the channel said.
The channel offers a “curated selection” of various films, including feature films, short films, and festival award winners.
Content is curated by the Myrtle Beach International Film Festival team.
“By leveraging the two-decade legacy of the Myrtle Beach International Film Festival, the Myrtle Beach Movie Channel provides independent filmmakers with non-exclusive digital distribution while offering movie lovers instant on-demand access,” Heather Maye, a spokesperson for the channel said in the press release.
The platform was created with the intention of centering independent filmmakers and giving them more access to digital visibility, Maye said.
“Our goal with the Myrtle Beach Movie Channel is to extend the magic of the festival beyond a five-day event,” said Jerry Dalton, Founder and Co-Director of the Myrtle Beach International Film Festival. “By launching this channel, we are giving independent filmmakers a continuous platform to share their work with an engaged audience, while giving film fans free access to incredible stories they won’t find on standard mainstream platforms.
