I hope Marvel Studios introduces Ghost Rider into the Marvel Cinematic Universe one day, the question is, when they do, what version of the character will it be?
Nicolas Cage Having played Johnny Blaze’s version of Ghost Rider on the big screen before, and Gabriel Luna Played Robbie Reyes’ version of Ghost Rider Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
While Johnny Blaze is my favorite version of the character and the one I’d love to see debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ Head of Streaming, TV and Animation Brad Winderbaum had different ideas.
Collider spoke with Winderbaum, and when Ghost Rider came up in the conversation, he chose Danny Ketch, Johnny Blaze’s hellfire brother.
He said: “I want to do the Danny Cage era of Ghost Rider. I think a lot of people will come here to see Ghost Rider.”
Now, just because he wants Cage’s Ghost Rider doesn’t mean that’s it Kevin Feige want to.
Danny Cage is the second Ghost Rider, first appearing in ghost rider #1 1990.
After touching the medallion, Danny transforms into Ghost Rider, a vengeful spirit with a flaming skull and powerful chain weapon. Unlike the original Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze, who was tied to the demon Zarathos, Danny’s transformation is tied to a different vengeful spirit called Noble Kale .
He gained the ability to exact revenge on the guilty, primarily through the use of the Penitential Gaze, which forces the perpetrator to feel the pain they have caused others.
As Ghost Rider, Danny has a strong sense of duty to protect the innocent, but he also struggles with the dark and violent nature of his power.
His storyline explores the heavy burden of using this supernatural ability, the toll it takes on his personal life, and the ongoing conflict between vengeance and justice.
Over time, Danny grows into his role and faces powerful enemies, including demonic forces, criminal syndicates, and other supernatural threats.
