2025 will bring more The Boss to Europe.
Earlier on Tuesday, October 1, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band announced the addition of eight new shows to their previously rescheduled European tour, which includes stops in the U.K., France, Germany and Spain concert.
The newly confirmed dates will kick off the first of two nights at Co-op Live in Manchester, UK, on May 17th.
All told, Sting and his team will play 12 dates on their UK and European tour in 2025, including previously rescheduled shows in Marseille, Prague and Milan that were originally canceled on doctor’s orders in May , as the rock legend returns from rehab.
The announcement of the new dates follows the world premiere of the Thom Zimny documentary Road Diaries: Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Bandwill be released on Hulu and Disney+ on October 25.
After a six-year absence due to a global pandemic and ailments including peptic ulcer issues, the road is calling Stinsten. The Rock Hall-inducted artist and his band will perform eight shows across Canada, starting on October 31 in Montreal and continuing through November 22 in Vancouver. The trek follows the completion of a US tour and headlines Sea.Hear.Now on September 15th. Sting held the festival in his hometown of New Jersey, the old Asbury Park stomping ground.
If Sting’s comments during a show at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park on August 23 are anything to go by, his performance has only just begun. “We’ve been around for 50 years and we’re not giving up!” he declared. “We’re not doing a farewell tour!” Jesus Christ! There’s no farewell tour for the E Street Band!
He added: “Farewell to what? A thousand people screaming your name? Get out. I’m not going anywhere!”
In a review of Springsteen’s Pittsburgh show, advertising billboard Noting Sting’s “earth-shaking enthusiasm” and the band’s ability to deliver “magical moments” night after night. The same energy was evident in Philadelphia, where the band delivered a set of hits that spanned decades.
