Ranveer Singh in Dhurandhar: The Revenge
    Updated on: 10 Oct 2026, 3:56 pm

Director Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandharfranchise, starring Ranveer Singh, has some of the most popular songs in recent Hindi cinema. Composed by Shashwat Sachdev, the albums for the two films have popular tracks, such as ‘Phir Se,’ ‘Aari Aari,’ ‘Ishq Jalakar,’ ‘Gehra Hua,’ and the ‘Dhurandhar Title Track,’ to name some.

Perhaps this explains why T-Series, which holds the rights to the music for Dhurandhar: The Revenge, has opened a “For Your Grammy Consideration” campaign for the film’s soundtrack and individual songs. With the campaign, the music label aims to earn enough votes to get into the final list of nominees for the 2027 Grammy Awards.

The team behind the film has submitted the soundtrack and the individual tracks for Grammy Awards in the following nine Grammy Awards categories:

    • Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media  — Dhurandhar: The Revenge

    • Best Song Written for Visual Media                   — ‘Phir Se’

    • Best Global Music Performance                        — ‘Jaan Se Guzarte Hain’

    • Best Global Music Performance                        — ‘Kanhaiyya’

    • Best Asian Pop Music Performance                  — ‘Aari Aari’

    • Best Pop Duo / Group Performance                  — ‘Jaiye Sajana’

    • Best Rap Performance                                      — ‘Destiny – Mann Atkeya’

    • Best Dance / Electronic Recording                    — ‘Vaari Jaavan’

    • Best Remixed Recording                                   — ‘Hum Pyaar Karne Wale’

The Recording Academy voting members will determine the final list of nominations for the 2027 Grammy Awards. With the “Four Your Grammy Consideration” campaign, T-Series aims to encourage the members to check out the songs in the first-round voting window.

The submissions alone do not mean that the soundtrack or every song in it has secured a Grammy Award nomination. The voters will look at it and arrive at a final decision according to the eligibility criteria of the Grammy Awards. If the soundtrack garners sufficient votes in the first round, it would progress to the official Grammy nomination list.
