Today, Raw Power Games released an all new Dev Diary for Chronicles: Medieval, which reveals details about the game’s evocative score and bombastic sound design.

Join Music Composer Knut Avenstroup Haugen (Dune: Awakening, Conan Exiles, Lords of the Fallen) and Senior Audio Designer Troels Jørgensen (Deep Rock Galactic) for a deep dive into the sound of Chronicles: Medieval, from the period instruments that transport players back in time, to battle audio that scales with the size of your army.
The diary also debuts four work-in-progress tracks from the score. Additionally, Raw Power Games will run a poll on the game’s Official Discord with suggestions to name one of the tracks. The participant who comes up with the winning title suggestion will be added as an in-game NPC in our medieval world.
Chronicles: Medieval is a historically grounded open-world sandbox set across the British Isles, France, and the Holy Roman Empire. Players build a character from nothing, recruit and train an army, forge alliances, and accumulate a reputation that echoes through the world. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 5 and Raw Power Games’ proprietary Asgard technology.
