KATSEYE’s new documentary, KATSEYE: Wild Hearts, is now streaming on Hulu and Disney+ following its release on October 16, 2026. The 80 minute film offers fans an inside look at the six member girl group as its members continue building their careers in the global music industry.
Directed by Nadia Hallgren, who also worked on Netflix’s Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE, the documentary follows the group beyond the training and competition featured in the 2024 series. Instead, it focuses on the realities of performing, recording music and managing growing public attention.
The film features previously unseen footage, interviews, backstage moments and videos submitted by fans. It follows Sophia Laforteza, Manon Bannerman, Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel and Yoonchae Jeung as they balance professional demands with their connection to their supporters, known as Eyekons.
Manon’s hiatus from group activities is among the subjects addressed in the documentary. The film arrives as the group continues navigating changes in its schedule and the pressures accompanying its growing profile.
KATSEYE was formed through The Debut: Dream Academy, a competition developed through the partnership between HYBE and Geffen Records. The group has drawn international attention with songs including “Touch”, “Gnarly” and “Gabriela”.
Its third EP, Wild, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, according to the supplied Variety report. The group has also been performing on its global WILLOWORLD Tour, marking another major step in its development as a touring act.
Produced by Interscope Films and Boardwalk Pictures in partnership with HYBE x Geffen, KATSEYE: Wild Hearts also highlights the role fans have played in the group’s growing success.
The documentary previously received a limited theatrical release in August before arriving on streaming platforms. For viewers who followed the group’s formation through Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE, the new film offers a closer look at the challenges and experiences that come with pursuing pop stardom.
