    Movie review:

    • Gimly: Alexandra Daddario is the absolute champ. She always gives 100% and I respect her a lot for that. She did the same in “The Stopover” but it wasn’t a good movie.
    • The leads are simply not on the same level (both in terms of actors and characters), barely a single joke lands, and almost everything is in The Layover we’ve seen (and complained about) a dozen times before. The central conflict actually pays off in a strangely satisfying way that, at least for me personally, I haven’t seen before. But everything that came before it, and the short label that followed it, didn’t resonate with me at all.
    • _Final Rating: ★½: – Boring/Disappointing. Avoid if possible.
