The final shot of the series finale saw Clark ripping open his shirt to reveal the iconic badge, and fans were excited for the long-awaited scene.

While Welling hasn’t seemed too eager to achieve this goal in the past, he does have a reason to want to don the suit again.
The actor recently sat down with ComicBookMovie to talk about his upcoming role in the film Mafia Warshe was asked if he would change his stance on wearing the Superman suit if given the chance.
He responded: “You know, I think now because my lovely wife and I have two boys…we have a bunch of costumes at home.
“It started with the first Halloween and now we have, I don’t know, 40 or 50 costumes. The one costume we don’t have is a Superman costume. I asked my son why and he said, ‘Because he was taken away.’ , I said, “Took away by whom? ” ‘go through [you].’
“It’s like, ‘Okay, I guess I’m open to the idea now.'” So if you know anyone, I guess that would be great. I thought it would be fun to be a part of it.
I don’t know if there’s still a chance for that to happen, but I think it’s pretty cool and sweet that he wants to make that happen for his kids. For their sakes, he should at least throw it this Halloween!
