Streaming fraud continues to be a huge problem in the music industry, with music data tracking company Beatdapp releasing statistics showing the extent of what it claims is the problem.
Beatdapp analyzed the so-called “4MB streaming and 40MB user incident” and estimated that “at least 10% of global streaming is fraudulent.”
The company also said it has determined 50 music publishers, of which more than half All streams are scams.
