Macho Aguilar:
Well, I’ve been looking. Hi, I’m Majo Aguilar and I’ve joined advertising billboard and Smirnoff ICE, cultivating culture your way.
I think I will never get to where I want to be because I will always want more. It’s cool, there’s always something to conquer. We are in a very special time where genres in our country are becoming superstars, which is very special to me and gives me a lot of creative inspiration. My favorite part of “Tómbola” is definitely the lyrics: You think you are the master of my life, look where I am. When I say, “Look where I am,” I don’t mean out of pride, but in terms of freedom, which is very powerful. You separate from a person and find your strength.
At Billboard Latin Music Week, that’s exciting for me because I’m going to be performing, in addition to a mariachi show, there’s going to be a mariachi fusion that I’m working on. I’m glad you hear and feel it as much as I do. I’m excited, I love it. Today we cheer! Turn up the flavor, turn up the music, and add a finishing touch with Smirnoff Ice.
