2024 MAMA Awards Performers and Nominations: View the List

The 2024 MAMA Awards Ceremony is approaching, and the first batch of star-studded performers have been officially announced.

The three-day event honoring K-pop’s brightest stars will kick off for the first time on November 21 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, Los Angeles, where KATSEYE, ILLIT, RIIZE, JY Park and TWS will perform. The awards ceremony will be held at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan from November 22nd to 23rd. ENHYPEN, TOMORROW Tian MEOVV takes the stage.

This year’s MAMA Awards presented by Visa will be themed “Big Blur: What is Real?” reflecting the increasing blurring of boundaries between industries, cultures, music genres and technology. In line with the theme, the ceremony will “present a surreal yet authentic experience through the fusion of art and technology, and showcase visually captivating performances,” according to a press release.

In addition to the performers, entertainment company CJ ENM also announced the list of nominees for the 2024 MAMA Awards. The eligibility period runs from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024, and nominees are determined based on an assessment of global music data and an evaluation by a panel of experts.

One of the new categories this year is Best Choreography, and the Visa Fan Choice Awards are back. The first round of voting will take place from October 14th to 25th, and the second round of voting will begin on November 1st.
