Apple Music has launched a new feature that lets artists convert their concert setlists into playlists, offering a new way to promote live performances.

Creating a tracklist involves a simple process, with artists selecting tracks through the search function or pasting a link to Apple Music. The feature also includes cover songs and collaborations, giving artists a glimpse into their live performances. Artists can schedule playlist release dates and rearrange tracks to match their actual performance order.
Apple said: “This can be a fun way to announce future tours, reach fans who can’t experience it live, or reconnect with those who attended the show.” The platform also provides promotional tools that allow artists to participate in a variety of sharing their tracklists on social media platforms.
Additionally, new features make managing content flexible, allowing you to hide or delete playlists as needed. When fans have added hidden playlists to their library, they can still access them. However, deleted playlists will be permanently removed from all platforms and user libraries.
Show listings will be displayed on artist pages based on popularity, giving fans the option to view recent and historical concert experiences. The feature is now available to all verified artists through their Apple Music for Artists account.
The launch of Set Lists marks Apple Music’s latest effort to strengthen connections between artists and fans and provide musicians with promotional tools. Apple Music launched Apple Music For Artists in August 2019 to Spotify for artists The app was launched in 2017.
