Amazon has been developing a live-action series adaptation of the hit ancient mythology-themed video game Mars. Multiple scripts have been written for the series, but the streaming service has canceled the current iteration of the project.
According to Variety, Mars The TV series will now start from scratch, with showrunners and executive producers Rafe Judkins and executive producer Hawk Osby and Mark Fergus All have withdrawn from the project.
With the show’s script now in hand, Amazon and Sony Pictures Television have decided to go in different creative directions.
