Here’s more from the interview:
• Gainey became involved in the project through Ted Bonnitt, with whom he has collaborated for more than 30 years.
• The production process used extensive research and resources, including three sound crews and numerous microphones, to create a unique and immersive audio experience.
• Unlike traditional voice-overs, which are done in a sound booth, this project involved actors performing together on a sound stage to capture real interactions. It also aims to replicate the way the human brain perceives sound, enhancing listeners’ sense of immersion.
• The production process is similar to filming a movie, where actors need to be highly familiar with their roles and perform in sequence.
