Zhamira Zhambrano talks backstage at Billboard Latin Music Week about how she finds beauty and joy through music and her favorite beauty trends.
Zamila Zambrano:
My glam sessions have a very mixed soundtrack. Sometimes I listen to my unreleased songs because it’s a moment when I’m alone and can focus on what I have to fix on certain songs. I listen to my husband’s music. I listen to Morat. I listen to English songs. I think if you ask me now, Karol G. Aside from her style, I really love how confident she is in front of the camera because that’s how you get to know her and I think she’s someone who always looks beautiful, elegant and super confident in herself. I always say if you feel beautiful on the inside, you will radiate beauty outward. For my part, I try to do a lot of the work myself and incorporate it into the studio. When I create, I’m always thinking about how the person, or in this case, the woman listening to the story would feel, or even how the man would feel, because men can feel beautiful and powerful too. I think, for me personally, as long as you have a positive message, which is what I try to convey through my music in the studio, with beautiful and inspiring words, healthy and clean messages, that go straight to the heart. You will feel great.
