Brad Paisley takes to the ballpark for the World Series game between the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday night (October 25) The national anthem is played during the first game.
Accompanied by a green electric guitar, he played a slowed-down version of the U.S. national anthem as a giant American flag stretched across the field.

The country star is a longtime Dodgers fan, and the performance marked his fourth time singing the national anthem at a World Series. Ice Cube and Fat Joe will also represent their hometowns in games two and three.
Last month, Paisley dropped the single “Truck Still Works” from his upcoming full-length record. The new album, likely to be released in early 2025, will be his first full-length album since 2017 and his first since switching from Sony Nashville’s Arista Records to Universal Music Group Nashville’s EMI Records album.
“There’s something deeper about this project, but like the songs themselves, it’s really about creativity and nostalgia, themes that you know you want to hear right now,” he told advertising billboard. “Sometimes, like right now, it’s nice to give people something they just want to show up for and take them to a place where they feel good.”
