The CW Network releases midseason trailer superman and lois Season 4, previewing the final episodes of the series and Superman’s final battle with Lex Luthor and Doomsday.
It looks like the show will end on a strong note, and fans seem to be enjoying what the final season has brought so far.
The final season picks up the events of season three, starting with Superman’s death fighting Doomsday. This week’s episode ends with the big news that Superman is back, something we all saw coming.
After Lois Lane’s father, General Sam Lane, was shot and left near death, he received a heart transplant and Superman was ultimately saved. Sam sacrificed himself at the hands of Doomsday so that his heart could belong to Clark.
As you can imagine, the human heart is affecting Superman and wearing him down, with signs that his powers are fading and his hair is turning gray.
series star Elizabeth Tulloch Speaking of which: “I think it’s really interesting the way he comes back because all of a sudden he has the heart of a man in his 60s – and the heart of someone who works with him. So, it’s A different guy, his power is… we don’t know what it’s going to be like [yet]”.
In addition to Doomsday, Lex will also don a suit of technological armor similar to that worn by John Henry Irons to defeat Superman once and for all.
It will be interesting to see how the rest of the series unfolds!
