The founder and CEO of Free Lunch sat down for an intimate interview with Billboard and INFINITI.

My name is Timothy Hinshaw, also known as Westside Timmy, CEO and founder of Free Lunch. I will officially launch the free lunch organization at the end of 2023. I grew up on the west side of Compton, so I could find a CD and what they were saying in the songs were things that I went through in my daily life, right? It’s almost like a therapy session. One of my fondest memories as a kid was my first road trip. My dad had an Infiniti Q45 and he loved that car. That’s gold. It had the gold BBS’96, just like my first exposure to luxury cars. My favorite time to listen to music is in the car. I think car testing is the most important test. I can’t really comment until I hear it in the car. If you don’t improve yourself and become better, you’ll stay where you are. I am a simple person. The luxury of being able to wake up with my kids, take them to school, and enjoy quality sound while driving. I was told “no, no, no”. I just don’t accept no. I guess that’s what I think. I’ve seen my mom find her way out of many different “no” situations, so you can’t tell me no. I will find a way to get a positive answer
