Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, The popular adventure series from Amazon-MGM is about to be adapted into a movie.
The company is developing a feature film that will see John Krasinski return as the plucky CIA analyst. Wendell Pierce (electric wire) will also return, while Michael Kelly (house of cards) is also in talks to return.
Andrew Bernstein, executive producer and director of the show’s second season, will direct the film from a script written by Aaron Rabin, co-executive producer and writer of the fourth season.
Jack Ryan Based on characters created by author Clancy and the so-called “Ryanverse”, but placed in the modern day. The show ran on Amazon Prime Video for four seasons and was one of the top three most-watched Prime shows in the world.
Producing the feature are Krasinski and Allyson Seeger of their Sunday night banner. Andrew Form also serves as producer.
Ryan Produced in association with Paramount Pictures and Skydance. Skydance’s David Ellison and Dana Goldberg will executive produce alongside John Kelly and Carlton Cuse.
Bernstein, one of Netflix’s main directors Ozarkrecently directed several episodes of welcome to delhi Produced Season 1 for HBO diplomat For Netflix. He is repped by CAA, Industry Entertainment Partners and McKuin Frankel.
Rabin recently committed to no one 2The action thriller starring Bob Odenkirk is currently in post-production at Universal Pictures. his specifications tower Blacklisted for 2020. He represents CAA and Untitled.
Krasinski is also an accomplished filmmaker, most recently writing, producing, and directing this family fantasy ifin which he stars alongside Ryan Reynolds. He and his banner also produced A Quiet Place: Day Oneis an extension of his critically acclaimed creature feature series. Krasinski is repped by WME and Schreck Ross.
Pierce is represented by Paradigm Talent Agency and Frankfurt Kurnit, while Kelly is represented by WME, Liebman Entertainment and Schreck Rose.
