A young thug is officially back home after pleading guilty to a criminal case leading a violent Atlanta street gang. On Thursday (October 31), the rapper was sentenced to 15 years of probation with no jail time.

Thug, whose real name is Jeffrey Williams, pleaded guilty in Georgia to multiple charges, including drug and gun possession, and pleaded no contest to other charges, including racketeering charges that claimed he was the leader of the criminal gang Young Slime Life. . Thug has been in custody for two years since he was arrested along with 27 others in May 2022 on 56 counts of violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO).
Before sentencing, Young Thug told the court that he “takes full responsibility for my crimes and the charges,” adding, “I know what I bring to the table and I know who I am. I know the heights I have reached, Also knowing the impact I have on people in the community.
After the news broke, Travis Scott wrote on his Instagram Stories that his “bruddda otw home” features a series of brown hearts. Likewise, Metro Boomin shared a series of photos of Thug on his Story.
“Welcome home lil bruddah, it’s been so long…it’s time to go back!!!” T.I. wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of the two. On X, Sexyy Red wrote: “They let the twins go!!!”, referring to the two’s similar appearance.
Kevin Liles, CEO of 300 Entertainment, which is owned by Thug’s YSL Records, wrote on Instagram: “When I learned that Jeffrey was free, I felt so happy and relieved that I couldn’t put my finger on it. There will be time to discuss the criminalization of hip-hop lyrics and the use of denying bail as a weapon against defendants, but for this moment, everyone should be happy that this amazing artist and even better man can embrace To his children, parents tonight, brothers, sisters and other loved ones.
