Here is the list of winners. If you win, the relevant company will contact you, hopefully within a week. Congratulations and thank you to all donors. We raised over £10,000!
Yes, it’s that time of year again; although I’m starting this campaign late, we still have until December 12th, so hopefully we can raise a lot of money again this year.
If you’ve never heard of Movember, let me explain. It is a charity originally established to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer research and treatment. Now it includes testicular cancer and mental health, which is a perfect fit for me.
Prostate cancer took the life of my grandfather and nearly took the life of my uncle. Because his father died of the disease, he was tested when he was over 45 years old, and the results showed that he had early symptoms. That was 25 years ago. If he hadn’t been tested, he wouldn’t be here today. This cancer is treatable if caught early!
Men and some creative women around the world are growing beards to raise awareness for the cause and solicit donations for their fundraising campaigns.
Earlier this year I was awarded the Movember Lifetime Achievement Award for raising over £265,000 over the past 16 years. This is only possible with all the donors and companies donating the prizes!
This year is a little different as I have two separate sweepstakes, one for my One Man Five Cats YouTube channel. This is the same event, but I’m keeping them separate because I’m sure the person entering to win a $650 Litter Robot 4 self-cleaning litter box won’t be interested in a FilmConvert Nitrate license! Let me explain how it works for you
If you donate £10/$13 or more to my campaign and send me the receipt you will be entered into the prize draw. The more times you donate, the better your chances of winning. Last year, Justin Clayton competed 33 times and won 5 awards!
Getting in is effortless; just follow the steps below.
- Go to this link and you will be taken directly to the donation page
- This will ask you to enter your donation amount and personal details.
- Make sure the amount is at least £10 (about $13 or whatever the exchange rate is). This is important otherwise I won’t be able to enter you into the draw. After donating, you will receive a receipt via email; please forward it to me at Movember@PhilipBloom.net.
- You can enter multiple times; repeat step 3. Thanks!
- It’s open to anyone in the world, not just in the UK.
- Registration closes on December 12 at 10pm GMT.
- One prize is awarded per ticket.
- Any import/duties are the sole responsibility of the winner. If you win something you don’t want, please email me as soon as possible to let us know and we will redraw it later.
- The exact date of the live draw will be announced as soon as entries are organized. Probably before Christmas.
- You donate directly to the organization representing the charity─I have nothing. This isn’t a lottery; it’s a lottery. This is not gambling; you are entering into a raffle for all the gear donated by many companies to help raise funds for Movember.
