Kid LAROI is one of many musicians who will perform at the 2024 ARIA Awards later this month, on November 20.
The Australian musician will make his homecoming journey when he returns to take part in the Australian Recording Industry’s flagship awards ceremony, which will be held at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion for the third consecutive year.
While his performance has yet to be detailed, The Kid LAROI is nominated in four categories at this year’s awards, including Best Solo Artist and Best Hip-Hop/Rap Release for a deluxe reissue of his 2023 album, firstIt peaked at No. 24 on the Billboard 200 in August.
The Gadigal-born artist from Camila Roy is also nominated for Best Pop Song for “Girls,” which debuted at No. 51 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in July. “Nights Like This” won the song of the year award, and the song reached its peak in July.
To date, The Kid LAROI has won three ARIA Awards out of 14 previous nominations, with his 2021 Hot 100 collaboration “Stay” with Justin Bieber earning him the 2021 Most Popular Award. Best Artist and Best Pop Song, with “Thousand Miles” winning the latter again the following year.
In addition, the ARIA Awards performance schedule will be completed by a number of Australian performers, currently including CYRIL, 3%, Jessica Mauboy, The Presets’ Julian Hamilton, Troy Cassar-Daley, Amy Shark, Angie McMahon and Teen Jesus and Gene Trailer.
2024 ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Missy Higgins will also appear on the night, performing her hits along with several of her friends and former collaborators.
The evening will also feature performances by two American artists, Kane Brown and Ava Max, who will perform her hits “Sweet But Psycho” and “Kings & Queens” as well as her new collaboration “Forever Young” recorded with David Guetta and Sung by original artist Alphaville. The track debuted last week and currently sits at No. 21 on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
