Lily James (baby driver, iron claw) and Pierce Brosnan (Mrs Doubtfire, Tomorrow never fades) will star in a reimagined classic action film suspense and Jaume Collet-Serra command. The two will reunite in this film after working together on Mamma Mia! here we go again 2018.
The new script is based on a story Anna Lily AmirpourBrosnan will play Ray Cooper, an experienced mountaineer who runs a luxury cabin in the Dolomites with his daughter Sydney.
“While on a weekend trip with the son of a billionaire, they are targeted by a gang of kidnappers. Ray’s daughter Naomi (James), still haunted by a past mountain climbing accident, witnesses the attack and escapes To save her family, she must face her fears and fight for survival.
Nell Tiger Free, Franz Rogowski, Shubham Saraf, Assad Bouab, Suzy Bemba and Bruno Guri will also appear in the movie.
The film, which is targeting a theatrical release, will be handled by Rocket Science for international sales, with CAA Media Finance representing North America and China.
Rocket Science has a partnership agreement with Studiocanal for the rights to the film.
