saturday night live and Elf actor Will Ferrell is set to star in a new comedy from 20th Century Studios called street justice. He will also produce the film, in which Ferrell plays a Dirty Harry type who takes justice into his own hands.
The film is based on an original idea Dave Callahamand it will be Peter AtencioA comedy veteran currently attached to Legendary Pictures’ upcoming live-action/animated hybrid series animal friends.
Callaham, screenwriter behind the scenes Shang-Chi and Oscar-nominated Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Versewrote the script on spec — which our sources say is on sale for a hefty seven-figure sum — and will serve as executive producer.
Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum will executive produce for Gloria Sanchez Productions, with David Copeland also serving as producer.
