What began as a limited series of concerts in the British Isles is now transforming into a full-scale world tour.
Oasis has announced that its 2025 reunion tour will add five dates in Latin America, with two shows at the River Plate Arena in Buenos Aires, Argentina, one at the Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Chile, and two nights in Mozambique, Chile. Held at Lumbis Stadium.
Following a series of Oasis shows in Australia earlier this month, a new show will be held in November.
Oasis has announced fan pre-sales for tickets to its Latin American shows, accessible through oasisnet.com, now live. Pre-sale registration will last until 11 a.m. local time on Wednesday (November 6). Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, November 13th.
In a statement announcing the new gigs on Tuesday (November 5), Oasis said the new dates come after a “strong global response” following the announcement of their reunion tour.
Ticket sales for the previously announced tour, which included the UK, Ireland and North America, were brisk but not without controversy. Ticketmaster introduced dynamic pricing in the sale of UK shows, resulting in some tickets more than doubling due to high demand, sparking complaints from fans.
This in turn led to the UK Competition and Markets Authority launching an investigation into surge pricing, and Oasis promising not to use surge pricing in ticket sales for their North American tour.
Michael RapinoeCEO live country – Co-produced with the Latin American leg of the Oasis tour SJM – said last month that its ticketing arm, Ticketmaster, had been attacked by “billions” of bots trying to buy tickets from Oasis fans.
“They’re a $12 billion professional business trying to grab seats. So it’s an arms race where we’re trying to stop them, keep them from getting in the door, keep them from holding tickets,” Rapinoe said.
Last month we discovered that Oasis’ promoters planned to remove more than 50,000 tickets for the band’s UK reunion tour that had appeared on unauthorized resale platforms in a bid to crack down on ticket scalping.
The latest gig announcement means the Oasis 2025 reunion tour has grown from an initial handful of shows in the UK to 38 shows in nine countries in four months.
Notably, the Latin American leg of the tour (including the two earlier announced shows in Mexico City) is scheduled before any shows in Western Europe (excluding the UK and Ireland) and East Asia.
