It’s just a matter of time.
On Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 6, tensions erupted between Archer and Lennox.
He wanted her out, but I knew that wasn’t going to happen anytime soon.
Chicago Med’s archers may have finally met their match
When things went wrong, Archer always blamed someone else.
In Chicago Med Season 9 Episode 10, he blamed Zola’s inappropriate behavior on the deceased Dr. Marcel, which was annoying, and his treatment of Lennox was even worse.
Archer spends the entire damn episode yelling that they should wait to do surgery, so naturally, when the patient dies during the procedure, he pounces on Lennox.
This is both annoying and unfair. After all, Abrams told him Jordan’s chances of survival were slim.
Lennox, however, had no tolerance for such nonsense.
Archer: This patient’s death is your responsibility, not anyone else’s.
Lenox: Well, Dr. Archer, you continue to live in an alternate reality, and you’re always right. At the same time, I’m in the middle of it and sometimes we lose patients.
Good for her! Someone has to put him in his place, especially now that Choi isn’t there to intervene.
Archer has been like this since his first appearance on “Chicago Med.”
Nowadays, he talks pretty well about ethics, but he used to do crap like intentionally put patients into comas so he could say they needed a power of attorney to make decisions for them, and then give them one that made it clear they didn’t want it surgery.
At least he’s given up on that, but bossing everyone around and blaming them when things go wrong isn’t much better, and he did too much of that on Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 6.
He also needs to stop giving ultimatums because if he gives Sharon a choice, he’ll lose his job.
I’m not in the mood to see the older man who knows it all lose his temper at a young woman who is just trying to do her job.
We’ve had enough of this crap in real life now, thank you.
Sharon reveals impressive stalker on ‘Chicago Med’ Season 10 Episode 6
Wait…so the person stalking Sharon is a former employee we’ve never seen on screen before?
I don’t like this reveal. They felt like they were cheating and didn’t impress at all.
We never met this guy, or if we did, I don’t remember him, but he came out of nowhere and made death threats against Sharon because she fired him.
Maybe all the layoffs shouldn’t happen off-screen. Then this reveal is going to be a little interesting.
To make matters worse, the criminal who was shot during the confrontation with the police was also off-screen. The police told Sharon about the incident afterward.
Double yawn.
I didn’t like this story in the first place. I usually like thrillers, but something felt off about this one.
The whole purpose seems to be to make Sharon nervous without anyone actually attacking her. Post-traumatic stress disorder and related mental health issues are real, but it’s not convincing.
After all, Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 6 resolved the entire issue off-screen, leaving me feeling like the whole story didn’t make much sense.
I’m glad Atwater got a cameo, but otherwise the whole thing is a waste of time.
The only interesting question is whether Dennis is still ready to move in with Sharon after Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 6. London is safer.
I like their relationship, but they need to slow down (or at least have more screen time). I don’t like fast forwarding to living together when a relationship hasn’t had much time to breathe.
Maggie’s Midwifery Adventures
I loved Maggie’s story, although I felt like it took Eli a long time to get Hannah.
I wish we had room for parallel stories so Hannah could be doing other things on the mobile device while Maggie was helping Sylvie with her baby.
Maggie is a bit aggressive when it comes to Sylvie wanting to keep the baby a secret and give it up for adoption.
She stressed to Sylvie’s mother that it was Sylvie’s decision, but when Sylvie initially said she wanted to give up the baby, she didn’t accept it.
I like the backstory of Maggie giving Vanessa up for adoption when she was sixteen, but I also don’t like the narrative on television that adoption is worse than raising a baby as a teenager.
How will Sylvie respond? Her mother, a bus driver, probably had neither the time nor the money to help her.
There are situations where adoption is the best idea, but on television, it never is, and Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 6 is no exception.
Kids with dissociative amnesia are fun, but what happened to the abuse storyline in Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 6?
Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 6 tells the story of two kids who are seriously injured at a training camp for troubled teens.
At first, Archer and Lennox agreed it was abuse, but the story faded in favor of their argument over whether one of the children should have the surgery.
Doctors are mandated reporters, so why didn’t Lennox tell Goodwin or Ms. CPS about her suspicions? Just because a camp counselor claims his activities are legal does not mean his activities are legal.
Furthermore, why did their suspicions not take into account whether this person could make medical decisions for Jordan? I think if he was the alleged abuser, that would change the calculus on that.
Am I being too harsh on Chicago Med Season 10 Episode 6?
The story we get is compelling, but it annoys me that the insults just disappear. It felt like too much was thrown in this episode for no reason.
