Christopher Nolan is adding more A-list stars to his latest film, with Zendaya and Anne Hathaway joining the cast of the director’s next film.
Zendaya will join her spiderman Co-stars with Tom Holland in the untitled Nolan feature, which will also star Matt Damon. As for Hathaway, she will reunite with Nolan, with whom she previously worked on the Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.
Plot details remain under wraps. Nolan wrote the script and directed the project, which will be distributed by Universal Pictures. The studio has set a release date of July 17, 2026.
Nolan produces the Syncopy banner with producer and wife Emma Thomas.
The new film reunites Nolan with the studio that produced his drama Oppenheimerwith global revenue of US$976 million. Oppenheimer This is the filmmaker’s first time working with Universal Pictures, a relationship that followed Nolan’s public split from his hometown Warner Bros. in late 2020. Oppenheimer Sources revealed that the new project was picked up by Universal Pictures at a public auction and ended up going directly to the studio.
Zendaya is currently in the middle of awards season, with two movies in the running, Dune: Part 2 and challenger. She is currently filming an A24 feature film dramaStarring opposite Rob Pattinson and Alana Haim.
