Zhu and his wife, Christine Hodge, welcomed their daughter on Saturday. This is the fifth child for the couple, who are also parents to Willow, 7; Jonathan Highlands, 5; Ruby, 3; and Iggy, 20 months.
Zhu sent a video message shared at the screening, noting that he and his wife were in the hospital awaiting the birth of their daughter.
“I was at the restaurant across the street getting ready to come; my whole family was there, my friends, all our relatives were there,” he says in the video. “I’ve been waiting three years to get to this moment and share our movie with you, but I’ve been waiting for this moment all my life, waiting for our fifth child, and now. Of course, this little girl knows when the premiere day is Appear.
Chu previously posted a “particularly magical announcement” on his IG Stories, with a photo taken at the hospital showing two bracelets that read “Defy Gravity,” a tribute to one of them. evil song.
