AEG Presents names Angie Rho senior vice president of global touring.
Rho joins the company from Creative Artists Agency (CAA) where he served as head of business affairs.
Her responsibilities include oversight of divisional operations, global strategy, team development and business affairs, and reports to Rich Schaefer, president of global circuits.
Rho’s office will be located at AEG Presents’ Los Angeles headquarters.
Rho is described as a “seasoned senior leader” across multiple industries with extensive in-house counsel experience at large, established companies as well as new startups.
She most recently served as an executive at CAA, where she directed and managed operations, including building functional expertise in operating units, M&A activities from negotiations to post-transaction integration, personnel matters, and a variety of legal issues.
AEG Presents noted that Rho’s career began at the “early days of the digital music era,” working at the “crossroads of technology and music” at music startup LAUNCH, which was later acquired by Yahoo! music.
“I was extremely lucky to be in the right place at the right time to experience unprecedented growth in live music and touring,” Rho said.
