Marvel Boss Kevin Feige We’ve run a pretty tight ship over the years, giving us great performances in the first few installments of the film, and some hits and misses in the last few installments.
But as they acknowledge the recession, things appear to be refocusing and getting back on track. Future plans include many returning superheroes, as well as some highly anticipated newcomers, including the X-Men.
We’ve had a taste of this motley crew Deadpool and Wolverineis one of Marvel’s hottest movies and we have a lot to look forward to.
While attending Disney’s D23 Brazil this past weekend, Feige recently spoke to Omelete about the future of the MCU, and he also teased the future of the X-Men and their relationship with Avengers: Secret Wars:
“When we prepare Avengers: Endgame A few years ago, our story needed to reach its finale, and then we had to start over. This time, walk in secret warswe already have a pretty good idea of what’s going to happen in the story before and after that. The X-Men are a big part of this future.
Secret Wars is still two and a half years away, so the X-Men might still be a while away. But it’s cool to know it’s coming.
As far as movies go, Marvel’s confirmed future includes Captain America: Brave New Worldthe deadline is February 14, 2025; Thunder*expected to be released on May 2, 2025; Fantastic Four: The First Stepreleased July 25, 2025; Avengers: Doomsday May 1, 2026; spider man 4 July 24, 2026; Avengers: Secret Wars May 7, 2027; further blade and armored warfare At some point in the mix.
