We’re celebrating imperfect women on television. These women are often unapologetic and unfiltered about their passionate beliefs.
They push boundaries, challenge authority, and take new risks as they conquer their dreams. Sometimes they succeed, sometimes they fail.
These women are often driven by a common desire—love—and they move toward that goal without hesitation every time. They will defend their choices, whether it’s protecting their children, moving into a new relationship, or defending their title.
These women are fun to watch because they are outspoken and passionate about their cases. They light up the screen with their confidence and vulnerability.
These imperfect women are the whole package.
Tony De La Rosa (Cleaning Lady)
Toni De La Rosa is the epitome of an unapologetic, imperfect woman. She will do anything to save her young son Luca, including committing many crimes.
When “The Cleaning Lady” begins, she’s working as a cleaning lady for the mob, and Aman helps fund Luca’s treatment for a rare, life-threatening illness.
She quickly walks a moral tightrope, believing she is justified in breaking the law.
As the season progresses, the situation becomes more complicated when Aman, Tony, and Nadia are involved in selling Robert Kamdar’s drugs in exchange for Luca’s drugs.
In Toni’s eyes, it was all about Luca, but when she tried to operate on him herself, everything fell apart and doctors put her and Fiona on CPS.
Tony fights for freedom and medicine for her and her family, but often finds himself working for the mob or a drug cartel.

Angie Polaski (Will Trent)
Will Trent’s Angie Polaski is the kind of detective who follows her instincts, and sometimes, it can pay off for her, or it can get her into more trouble .
Angie is passionate about working with teenage victims and has a keen sense of justice due to the sexual abuse she suffered in foster care.
Although many in the precinct and the GBI initially thought Angie was an emotional disaster, they developed a new respect for her after she rescued Joey, a teenager recovering from a drug lord.
Angie’s main problem is that she jumps to save people first and thinks about the consequences later. That’s why we love her, and Erica Christensen plays her with such depth.
Angie has made such progress. She’s been sober for a few months, reunited with Will, and appears to be in a healthy relationship.
But she hid the fact that Crystal stabbed Laney, and that the teen also killed numerous other sexual predators. Angie means well because of her relationship with the girl, but her compassion gets her into trouble.
We can’t wait to see this play out.

sloanford (three women)
Sloan Ford is the most outspoken and unapologetic woman on “Three Women.” You have to respect her, even if it’s hard to like her.
Not many women start a rocking relationship in marriage, but she did. She admits that she longs to be desired and cherished, but not controlled.
Although Sloan’s marriage was nearly perfect, she didn’t fit the mold. She became so exhausted from trying to conform to the ideal image that her bulimia returned.
Sloan’s desire for freedom leads her to begin an affair with Will, a sexy boater and oyster peddler who doesn’t belong to her crowd. She lit up the screen for the first time and looked happy.
She is the kind of woman who will do whatever it takes to get what she wants. Of course, Sloane feels guilty about hurting others, but she’s addicted to Will and determined to keep him.
You have to respect this gameplay, especially when she sets up a foursome with Will, his girlfriend, and Richard, and they get excited about mushrooms. She subtly acted like they were both on board, even though it was her idea.

Penelope Featherington (Bridgerton)
We love all of the Bridgerton heroines. They know how to find the right person, but most people don’t follow society’s rules.
But there’s something special about Penelope Featherington. Perhaps it was because as the youngest daughter she was often neglected.
Although women were not supposed to work at the time, Penelope created her own destiny by writing the successful “Mrs. Whistle” column.
Sure, it’s acerbically witty at times, but it’s also sharp and funny.
During the first two seasons of Bridgerton , Penelope was in that awkward friend zone where she had a huge crush on Colin. She smartly goes after him and begs for a kiss, saying it doesn’t have to mean anything and we all know how that turns out.
When he finally reciprocates her advances, Penelope worries that she will have to change her career and herself because becoming a gossip columnist is inappropriate. You should never change who you are.

Rollins (“Law & Order: SVU”)
Amanda Rollins has been an important part of Law & Order: SVU since joining the cast in Season 13.
Amanda and Angie Polaski might have become friends if Law & Order: SVU aired on the same network as Will Trent. They are both outspoken, impulsive and passionate, but sometimes this can backfire.
Still, it’s always fun to watch. Since Amanda arrived, her past has often affected the way she handles cases, whether it’s her dysfunctional family relationships or her gambling addiction.
In several episodes, she goes undercover to catch rapists in dangerous situations, some without support or permission. She does this on more than one occasion to learn the psychopath’s type and get him attracted to her.
Amanda has also been outspoken about victims of domestic violence. At times, she doesn’t have much sympathy for them because her mother never left her father years ago, so she has to balance her views and career.
It took several years, but she finally found her happy ending: marrying Sonny Carisi and starting a family. We’re glad she’s found a new career and appears regularly on the show.

Claire Pierce (Tiny Beautiful Things)
Clare Pierce in Hulu’s Tiny Beautiful Things is a mess, and that’s why we love her.
People who can screw up but pick themselves up and offer advice to others based on their own failures are endearing.
Claire Pierce (Kathryn Hahn) has lost everything. Her husband disowned her after she used her daughter’s college fund to bail out her drug-addicted brother.
She vents her grief through a one-night stand with an Uber driver.
She no longer recognized herself, so a friend suggested she take over the “Dear Sugar” advice column.
This is Cheryl Strayed’s real-life column, in which Carol Pierce gives spirited and witty advice on how to avoid certain life situations.

Olivia Baker (All-American)
Olivia Baker has been passionate and outspoken since the NFL’s inception.
Often, her Liv Truth podcast has a beneficial purpose, like when she spread the word about racism in Crenshaw. Sometimes, however, her views are extreme, such as when she released the police body-worn video of Tamika’s death.
Olivia has always been a social activist, and getting away with it for a DUI accident only made her even more excited.
As Laura tries to get justice for Tamika, it could destroy her mother’s legal career.
Olivia and her father are similar, and they even follow a story together about a corrupt football coach. When she won an award for it, she dedicated it to Billy.
All Americans would never be the same without Olivia chasing a story or leading a cause.

Bennett Street (Euphoria)
Rue Bennett is the type of character that many viewers love. She is unforgettable because so many of us have experienced loss.
Rue became involved in drugs since taking care of her father, who died of cancer. This is heartbreaking for a young teenager.
Like many teenagers, she went to rehab, and when she came back, she had a happy smile on her face and pretended she was sober.
What makes her so unforgettable is the way she deals with the day-to-day problems of a teenager while also dealing with addiction, anxiety, and depression.
Rue then falls in love with Jules. At first, this seems healthy, but as the story progresses, her relationship with Jules seems to be a substitute for drugged codependency.
Drugs nearly ruined Rue’s life until her family made an emotional intervention in Euphoria Season 2.

Rhaenyra Targaryen (House of the Dragon)
Rhaenyra Targaryen never followed the rules of House Dragon.
From the time she was a little girl, she understood the pressure of a woman to ascend to the throne in a man’s world.
She is her father’s daughter at heart and wants to please King Viserys, but that doesn’t mean she bends to his will, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
Her romantic choices often caused controversy at court, but she remained in control of her family and destiny.
First, Rhaenyra is a mother who is shocked when Aemond kills Luke and demands vengeance.
Only when more children died did she plead with Alicent to stop the war.
Although Rhaenyra wanted to prove she deserved the throne, she despised the senseless deaths of children.

Georgia Miller (Ginny and Georgia)
Georgia Miller once said on “Ginny & Georgia” that she loves a good scam. That’s part of the reason she found work with Paul in the mayor’s office, because she wasn’t a high-society lady.
As a teenager, Georgia was abused by her stepfather and ran away from home. That experience taught her not to engage in such behavior again, and when her boyfriend and Austin’s father, Gil, became abusive to her, she left him.
Georgia had a habit of hiding from abusive men, which is why the police were after her. She killed her last husband because he fell in love with Ginny, and Georgia wanted a better life for her daughter.
Although Ginny and Austin’s childhoods may have been unstable, Georgia tried to protect her children. Her decision affected her and she was arrested at the wedding. We can’t wait to see how she gets out of this mess.
