Tonight’s episode of “Found” on NBC takes viewers into an emotional, twisty storyline that further highlights the show’s themes of trauma, loyalty and justice. The opening dream sequence effectively foreshadows the tensions Gabi faces beneath the surface, including her ever-present anxieties about Jazz’s public redemption and the looming threat of her own potential downfall.
When Gabby wakes up from her nightmare, she’s thrust back into the real-world challenges of working at M and A, where she’s immediately confronted with a complex new case involving Rush, a controversial journalist who has targeted a… Known as a powerful person. The anguish of Rush’s friends and the bizarre voodoo doll left on his doorstep underscore the hostility Rush faces as a journalist and non-binary activist. The case forced Gabby and her team to walk a tightrope – balancing professional obligations with personal vulnerabilities, especially given Rush’s combative public image.
Dahn’s hesitance about the Rush case is particularly intriguing. His suspicions stem from Rush’s confrontational style, which mirrors the trolls and reporters targeting Gabi. This reluctance allows us to understand Dahn’s character and the ways in which he and Gabby are motivated by their own traumatic experiences. Dahn’s deep loyalty to Gabi is shown when he later threatens Trent, making it clear that, no matter the personal cost, he will not stand by if anything happens to Gabi.

Zeke’s decision to ignore the message was both an act of defiance and a measure of self-preservation, but it left him deeply disturbed.
Suspicion deepens when we see M and A’s case file on Rush landing directly on Sir’s desk. Although the identity of the informant was not revealed in the play, this moment gave the audience an undeniable sense of fear: someone on the inside was secretly assisting Sir. This adds a dangerous new dimension to Gabi’s war with her past. Now, not only is she haunted by her past captors, but she’s also grappling with an invisible betrayal – a traitor feeding her tormentors sensitive information. Could it be Mr. Christian’s brother? Dahn made it clear to Christian that if he harmed Gabi in any way, he would kill him without hesitation. Or is the Christian angle too obvious?
