Movie review:
- Kamurai: It’s really good. I can watch it again and recommend it.
- There are some dated references, but most of the movies have survived over time. All the gist is the same, mainly football between rich and poor, with a strong element of female empowerment.
- It’s great to see a fun group of “misfit” kids working together to overcome adversity.
- I miss Rick Moranis in this industry, he’s great. They created such wonderful characters for each of the children and the film is full of charming moments.
- If you liked “The Bench” or “The Sandlot” and want a football version of such movies, check this one out.
