I Know What You Did Last Summer meets the tracker in this twisty moment, during which Colter tracks through a beautiful Pacific Northwest park in search of a missing camper.
At times, I couldn’t even focus on the dialogue because Trackers Season 2 Episode 6 was so picturesque.
But it’s another thrilling moment that quickly becomes a rather enjoyable second act for the action drama series.
The sophomore slump is a very real thing in the world of television, and there’s still a lot of Trackers to go through this season, but so far the episodes have been, for the most part, pretty entertaining, even with some of the first season’s struggles is still there.
Aside from Colter and Rainey, everyone else is still left out, maybe even more so than before. Still, the cases, places, and people Colter encounters this season as he searches for missing persons and collects rewards are inherently new and exciting.
Not every hour was a home run, but it was fun. That’s all you really want from a show like this.
The missing camper saga takes Colter to a park where a group of friends mysteriously disappear after a night of drinking and talking about a drunken hike to a waterfall under a super blue moon.
We can see someone watching them, so Colt will eventually find out there’s a madman out in the woods hunting people for sport or something like that, which seems to be the case, and that’s what seems to be the case when Colt meets We were going to Keaton.
If Renee, Billie, or Russell weren’t around, Curt would often meet someone in law enforcement who would end up helping him in some way, even if the relationship was contentious at best.
Keaton is a law enforcement officer but retired. He’s in the park chasing a cold case that, even in retirement, he can’t get rid of. After the initial male gesture, the two discover they have much more in common than they have differences.
At no point does Colter give the impression that he’s looking for companionship, but once these two talk, it’s clear they can help each other out.
Colter knows all about the demons chasing his past, and the similarities between the two cases are impossible to ignore.
Keaton is an old-school cop, the kind of guy who can never rest knowing that there’s still work to be done for what he promised to do. No matter how much time passes, his drive to solve the case never fades.
He’s never content to give up because that’s not who he is. Sound familiar?
Colter is a lone wolf through and through, but his partnerships usually work well, especially in situations like this where he and Keaton have a lot in common.
There is a lot left unsaid between the two due to their immediate connection. They were practically strangers but worked so well together that it felt like they had known each other for years.
How they see the bullet, the way it hits the rock, and are able to pinpoint exactly where the bullet is likely to come from is a learned skill, and once they stumble across that disguised hut, they’re right in front of the shooter. above.
It’s still early and it’s not quite over yet, but who would have thought things would go so badly off the rails?
Marcus may be Keaton’s guy, but he’s not who Curt wants.
Colter and Keaton’s meeting on that mountain was a blessing, even if it was caused by something tragic. If it weren’t for them, Marcus would have continued his rampage against those who dared set foot on the mountain.
Marcus gives Colt the little information he needs to start solving the case when he says that the friends look ready to kill each other and all he has to do is stand by and watch.
What a curve ball it was, but when things started falling into place, the first thing I thought of was the ’90s horror classic starring Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sarah Michelle Gellar, because whenever When people start talking about covering up something that happened years ago, I picture a man in my mind.
It’s a pretty crazy thing to think about friends driving drunk and knocking down a man, disposing of his body and then carrying on with their lives for eight years like nothing happened, but Coop’s conscience It became too big for him to ignore.
His conscience has been kicking in since he’s been paying Natalie money for years, even though he may not have been truly capable of doing so.
Clearly, he wasn’t content with dying with his guilt, but interestingly enough, he went to Jason and Monica hoping they felt the same way and wanted to confess, despite knowing that was unlikely.
Jason and Monica have clearly moved on, and they’re not ready to destroy everything they’ve built over the years.
They are the ones who get away with murder and are okay with it – blaming it on a mistake in college.
But Coop was the one who got away with murder, and he could never accept that. He tried to make amends through financial means until this was no longer enough to alleviate the overwhelming sadness he felt.
I always thought one of Jason or Monica would agree with Coop, but that’s not what happened in that apartment. Coop may not have intended to kill Jason, but I have no doubt that the couple would have killed him had Coop not taken action.
Since they both lost the cover while they were out hiking, once Jason and Monica get into that computer, they can delete the email, delete Coop, and then dispose of his body like they did Brian’s.
That was a dirty and evil couple. They may have made mistakes in the beginning, but from then on, they showed no remorse and were willing to make tragedy more painful in order to preserve the life they created.
How Monica was able to wrap Coop’s body, drag him out of that apartment, and load him into a car without anyone seeing and without cameras catching them defies logic, but that’s why we don’t See these.
It all leads up to Colt and Keaton finding them on the docks, although it’s a definite twist that Coop is still alive!
Once again, Monica only had two seconds away from killing him and she wasn’t going to give it a second thought. Killing to protect a secret is an old story.
Colt and Keaton teaming up to save the world was definitely a highlight, and I’m grateful that they finally found someone Colt could connect with on one of the cases instead of just one.
Justin Hartley often has great chemistry with everyone, and I can think of a few people he connected with that I wouldn’t mind seeing again.
Having Keaton investigate Gina’s case guarantees that things will be resolved, and I like that they chose to intersect this case with this one.
Colter often lives in the past; apparently, so does Keaton. While we can debate whether this is healthy or not, it is reality right now. So why not harness their obsession with cold cases and turn them into something good?
Keep track of notes
- Velma is not enough. Bobby wasn’t enough. Free them from their phones and get them into the intense action as quickly as possible!
- Sorry, but Colter and Rainey do still have the most potential as ships. They sat across from each other, drinking champagne from glasses, and I giggled and kicked my feet.
- That waterfall is breathtakingly beautiful. They visited some truly beautiful places this season.
- Are there any plans to move forward with the Shaw Brothers drama? I have to admit, these stories are so good that I think about it less and less, but I still don’t want them to get so far away from it that we forget it exists.
