as you know, peacemaker was created and released while the DCEU still existed, Gunn said peacemaker Season 2 will be set in the DCU and will serve as a “soft reboot” of the series. He assured fans that the timeline will make more sense when the series is released.
Gunn confirmed in an interview with Rolling Stone, peacemaker Season 1 remains canon for Peacemaker Season 2 and the greater DCU, but he then talked about one exception.
“The fact is, with the exception of Justice League, almost all of Peacemaker is canon… We’ll be dealing with that in the next season of Peacemaker.”
