2024 movies dark night of the soul In short, incredible. This inspiring story of determination, rage, and finally; Acceptance has become my favorite movie of the year. SJ Creazzo writes and directs this insightful, if indirect, take on the pandemic and God.
This is the Zhumai family. This is a solid four-star ensemble that delivers on many different levels. All of them have a sincere set of beliefs that prove you get what you put in.

Courtney Warner plays Lori.
story
dark night of the soul It started as an epidemic with no known cure. Dr. Loken is desperately searching for answers. She also faces personal tragedy and becomes increasingly angry at her apparent helplessness.
After leaving the CDC, she got distracted and crashed her car. Alex is trapped in the car and must wait for rescue. As she lay helpless on the ground, the scientists began a different kind of journey.
this all works
Creazzo gives us the end credits at the beginning, a nod to Zack Snyder and his remake of the classic Dawn of the Dead. “Pop music” underpins the overwhelming apocalyptic visuals. The series of events behind the opening credits brilliantly tell us how terrible the human condition in this world is.
Another nod or homage Creazzo uses is the car crash itself. He made us horror fans fall in love with this plot device. exist Omega HorseDr. Robert Neville discovers a vaccine that could protect people from another epidemic. He was also involved in a car accident, but with completely different consequences. *The Omega Man is based on the brilliant work of Richard Matheson last man on earth. The story is so good that it has been made into movies at least three times.
There are at least two “nods” ahead, and I’ve probably missed more.
looks great
dark night of the soul Looks great. Cinematographer Pascal Coombs-Nock makes every frame count. There is a scene between Alex and her father. He wore glasses, and her image, especially the blue top, appeared in both lenses. It’s a small detail, of course, but it shows the meticulous care that went into making this film.
You can take grandma there
As far as swearing goes? The quantity is very small. There is no violence, the Bordeaux (aka blood spilled) is discreet. No nudity either. This is a show for the whole family to watch and enjoy, and Creazzo and his colleagues take us on a fantastic journey.
judgment
i can give easily dark night of the soul 5 stars out of 5. *Side note: It’s great to see Martin Kove bring such gravitas to his key parts.
