Sabrina Carpenter Debuts ‘A Pointless Christmas’ Preview at LA Show

Sabrina Carpenter reveals trailer A Pointless Christmas with Sabrina Carpenter On Her Last Night is available on Netflix short and sweet Monday night in Los Angeles for a U.S. tour stop.

“Christmas comes early this year,” the pop star says at the beginning of the trailer. “I wouldn’t count on a quiet night.”

Netflix previously announced plans for special programming in September. The musical will feature celebrity guests including Chappelle Rowan, Tyra, Shania Twain, Kali Uchis, Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Nico Hiraga, Megan Stewart, Sean Astin, Owen Tiller and Jillian Bell.

“It’s a meaningless holiday, and that’s what we’re here for,” the journal reads, a nod to Carpenter’s famous song “Nothing.”

“In this special show with musical guests, pop icon Sabrina Carpenter will perform songs from her holiday EP Fruitcake as well as other iconic chart-topping holiday covers,” the news release The manuscript continued. “This special will also include stunning musical performances, comedy guests, unexpected duets, and more surprises and fun guest appearances.”

Her latest album, short and sweetIt debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 362,000 equivalent album sales in its first week, making it her first album to top the chart. The album’s success extended to the Hot 100, with all 12 songs charting on the chart, including the #2 standout singles “Taste,” “Please Please Please” and “Espresso.”

Notably, Carpenter joins Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande in the elite ranks of having three songs in the top five at the same time. Across the Atlantic, she made UK chart history as the female solo artist with the most weeks at number one in any calendar year.
