Brady Bedard has been named executive vice president of promotions for Atlantic Music Group.
After joining the company for 26 years, he Sony Music/Columbia He most recently served as the label’s senior vice president of pop promotions.
In his new role at Warner Music Group AMG, Bedard will be responsible for promotional strategy for Transatlantic, 300 and 10K Projects labels.
The appointment marks the company’s latest major appointment since Elliot Grainge took over as chief executive on October 1.
“He is a tremendous addition as we continue to build the best team in the industry,” Atlantic Music Group CEO Elliott Grange said on Monday (November 25).
Atlantic Music Group also recently appointed Alana Dolgin to the company’s newly created position of president of digital marketing.
Over the course of his career, Bedard has promoted Adele, Beyoncé, Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus, John Played a key role in the careers of artists such as John Mayer, BTS, Hozier, One Direction, Daft Punk, Lil Nas X, Jack White and many more.
Bedard began his career in 1998 as a collegiate representative for Sony Music, then became a field marketing representative and transitioned to radio promotion for Columbia Records in 2001.
He rose through the ranks at Sony Music and was named Director of Pop Promotions, Senior Director of Promotions and Vice President of Rock and Alternative Promotions before being named Senior Vice President of Pop Promotions in 2018.

Last week, during the opening remarks of Warner Music Group’s third-quarter earnings call, WMG CEO Robert Kyncl addressed Atlantic Music Group’s recent leadership changes.
