Get ready for a deep dive into the strange saga of Natalia Grace.
Investigation Discovery announced today that the long-awaited The Curious Case of Natalia Grace: The Final Chapter will premiere in January.
As you may recall, Natalia was a Ukrainian orphan who was accused of trying to murder her American adoptive parents.
Her story is now indisputable proof that sometimes, fact is stranger than fiction.
In a press release issued today, ID revealed that the new series will follow “After an unprecedented and volatile phone call, the Manns, Natalia’s new adoptive family, tell production, ‘We’re done, we’re done with She finished.
According to today’s announcement, The Final Chapter “delves deeply into Natalia’s story as she faces a new set of challenges and upheaval, from a dramatic rescue mission to new abuse allegations.”
The series will bring “Natalia’s story to a close as she strives to find healing and resolution during a tumultuous journey filled with decades of unexpected twists and turns.”
ID also released a chilling trailer to remind us just how crazy this rollercoaster ride is.
“There’s something wrong with Natalia. The girl is adjusting,” Antwon Mance tells producers in voiceover.
“I felt like she was the enemy of the family. She told us we were holding her hostage. To make us look like the enemy,” he continued.
“She’s done other things, but this is a new low. Natalia has no feelings except for herself. We’re done. We’re done with her.
Of course, Natalia Grace’s case has repeatedly proven to be more complicated than it initially seemed, and we’re sure the latest installment in the docuseries will only deepen the mystery.
Natalia first came to our attention in 2023, and the first season left viewers wondering if they should feel pity for the adopted child or rage against the adult con artist.
Now, the story is finally coming to an end—but something tells us we’re still going to be left with a lot of questions.
