The film is directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber (red notice, skyscrapers, and CIA) from a script he wrote Ellen Shanman.
Speaking previously about the film, Thurber said: “I wanted to make sure we stayed true to the heart and spirit of Voltron. In this movie, we’re introducing a whole new generation of pilots.
“We’re reimagining Voltron for the live-action world, but we’re staying true to…the iconic elements that you love and I love. I’m excited to share it with you.
There are currently no details about who the actor will play in the movie.
Voltron: Guardian of the Universe It tells the story of five young pilots from a battalion called the “Robot Lions”, vehicles that combine to form a giant robot named Voltron.
Together they face off against Emperor Zarkon, the ruthless leader of the Galra Empire, who has been searching the universe for Voltron the Lion for over 10,000 years.
Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman in production Bob Kopraris the head of World Events Productions, the company that controls the Voltron properties.
