Kendrick Lamar is back for another big week advertising billboardchart, thanks to his new album, GNX.
Published on pgLand/Interscope/ICLG on November 22 without further notice, GNX According to Luminate, the album achieved first-week equivalent album sales of 319,000 units in the United States and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart (dated December 7). It became his fifth leader, following Mr. Morale and Strider (2022), Damn it. (2017), No title, no owner. (2016) and pimp a butterfly (2015).
At the same time, all 12 GNX The songs entered the Billboard Hot 100, all in the top 30, and 7 in the top 10, including the entire top five. He joins Taylor Swift, Drake and The Beatles as the only acts to dominate the entire top five in the same week.

“Squabble Up” marks Lamar’s fifth Hot 100 No. 1, following “Not Like Us” and “Like That” as well as Future and Metro Boomin’s “Humble” (both due out in early 2024). (2017) and featured on Swift’s “Bad Blood” (2015). His career total of 87 Hot 100 winners includes 57 top 40 finishes, 22 top 10 finishes and 14 top 5 finishes.
Lefty Gunplay, Dody6, Wallie the Sensei, Siete7x, AzChike, Hitta J3, YoungThreat and Peysoh all debuted on the Hot 100 thanks to their stellar appearances on the album.
Meanwhile, Roddy Ricch returns to the Hot 100 for the first time in two years with his performance on “Dodger Blue.” The rapper scored two No. 1 hits in 2020: “The Box” and DaBaby’s “Rockstar.”
